Cleaning and maintenance products are used in many different professional settings from factories to hospitals, both manually and using machinery. So clear instructions as to what are the right products to use in each situation, and how to use them, are very important to ensure safety and maximum effectiveness.
A.I.S.E. has developed pictograms to show clearly what a product is used for and how it is intended to be applied. These are widely used throughout Europe, on labels and in training materials.
These pictograms are intended to complement European legislation to harmonise the Classification, Labelling and Packaging of substances and mixtures.
As well as the pictograms, A.I.S.E. has also developed a set of tips for professional users to promote the
sustainable use of disinfectants, similar to those developed for consumers. The tips give advice on how to store, use and dispose of disinfectant products.
