A.I.S.E. REACH implementation and communication support

REACH
The REACH regulation entered into force on 1st June 2007. It is now down to the companies to ensure that the regulation is correctly implemented.

REACH and A.I.S.E.
A.I.S.E. has been actively involved in the development of the REACH Regulation. We believe that REACH is a significant opportunity to build consumer and end-user confidence in chemicals.

The implementation of REACH within A.I.S.E. has been facilitated thanks to our previous involvement in several major programmes such as

  • HERA: a joint A.I.S.E./Cefic project
  • PRODUCE and SPORT: Participation of A.I.S.E. directly or via member companies
  • DUCC (Downstream User of Chemicals Coordination group): A.I.S.E. is a founding partner of this platform

Supporting our Members
This website and the special members' section contain a wide range of information which will help our Members to implement and comply with the REACH Regulation. They can find, for instance, fact sheets, guidelines, standard methodologies, and Q&A.

Interacting with external Stakeholders
A.I.S.E. will work in close dialogue with ECHA and all interested parties to ensure that REACH is effectively implemented.

Exposure Scenarios
To support suppliers/registrants (manufacturers and importers) prepare their chemical safety assessments and reports, A.I.S.E. has developed comprehensive and generic use information to assist in exposure assessment for substances used in the cleaning and maintenance products sector. To access the information on exposure assessment click here.
