cleanright.eu available today in eight languages

Consumer engagement

Today, A.I.S.E. launches its consumer website on home hygiene and cleanliness in seven additional languages. This comprehensive online resource, written by experts for consumers, is now live in Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Polish, Romanian and Spanish. With these eight languages, cleanright.eu is directly accessible to nearly 435 million European consumers in their own language.

In these days of heightened awareness of the importance of hygiene and cleanliness to protect our health and wellbeing, cleanright is a trustworthy online resource on good housekeeping and cleaning at home, providing consumers with comprehensive and reliable information on cleaning and maintenance products including disinfectants, together with practical sound advice on how to use them safely and sustainably. The content on targeted hygiene has been co-authored with Professor Sally Bloomfield, Chair of the Home Hygiene Scientific Forum (IFH).

Specifically, it contains a wealth of information on:
  • The importance of cleanliness and hygiene at home and how to break the chain of infection
  • Safe and sustainable use of products
  • Videos on how to read the label, understand the safe use icons, and the Charter for Sustainable Cleaning

Cleanright was initially created in 2008 and was subject to a major revamp to modernise and update the site in 2020. Launched initially in English in February 2020, the portal is available today in eight EU languages, and cleanright.eu will progressively be translated into 21 languages in the coming weeks, to be accessible to the 500 million consumers in Europe. As an industry portal, it does not cover any brand-specific information.
