A.I.S.E. is a member of the Clean Hospitals platform, working alongside leading health and hygiene experts to harness our collective strengths to promote, improve and drive environmental hygiene in hospitals. Increasing the visibility of the role environmental hygiene has to secure patient safety and raising the standards will ultimately lead to improved public health benefits, and lower rates of healthcare associated infections. A.I.S.E. engages with the competent authorities at national and EU level to ensure that the key role of biocides for health and safety in hospitals is understood. Disinfectants play a crucial role in infection prevention, and their ongoing availability is essential for patient safety.
