The European Partnership for Alternative Approaches to
Animal Testing (EPAA) just launched a call for submissions for its
"3Rs
Laboratory Technician Prize 2015”.
The €3000 cash award will be granted to an animal caretaker
and/or technologist for their contribution to the implementation of the 3Rs
(Replacement, Reduction and Refinement of animal testing) method. Aimed at
technicians, the prize focuses on efforts to promote the Refinement "R” technique in Europe.
Deadline for submission is September 18th 2015.

EPAA is a public-private partnership (PPP) between industry and the European Commission covering seven industry sectors (including detergents and maintenance products).The EPAA promotes development, validation and acceptance of alternatives methods for regulatory safety testing.
